The subject of Medicine interests many students, however they won’t all become doctors. Teams of scientists, engineers and mathematicians work alongside medical doctors, helping them to understand the spread of disease, discover better treatments and cures, and develop technology to aid more accurate diagnosis and treatment.

E is for Engineering is a programme for girls in West Yorkshire schools, introducing them to engineering as a subject and potential future career. Students will join the programme in Y7 and stay in the programme until Y10, during this time they will take part in a variety of workshops and have the opportunity to meet industry professionals and academics from the University of Leeds.
