Designed by Engineers - Autumn 2023

Designed by Engineers

During October and November 2023, teachers can book a series of practical engineering workshops tailored to subjects from the KS4 Design Technology curriculum and delivered in schools by academics from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Leeds. Workshops are designed for audiences in years 9, 10 and 11.

These 1-hour workshops will involve designing and testing new materials while relating examples to everyday life.

Select from a ‘menu’ of activity (minimum of one workshop delivered per year group) and work with the STEM Outreach team to tailor the programme to your students’ needs.

All materials and resources are provided.
