For Year 12 Science/Design & Technology students
Event Focus – Aero Dynamics / 3D Printing / Materials Science
By taking part in this programme delivered in partnership between Bloodhound Education & University of Leeds (UoL) your students will spend a fun day of exploring innovative engineering, inspired by the Bloodhound 1,000 land speed record car. Take a tour around our full-size model, learn about the key parks and materials. Design, build and race an air powered rocket car and see how far it can travel in a straight line. Prizes for the winning team. Bloodhound certificates for all students.

Lunch
Lunch will be provided in the form of packed lunches.
Dress Code
School students and should come dressed in weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Students are responsible for all belongings brought onto campus.
Student Ambassadors
Ambassadors supporting the event are studying Engineering/ Computing are there to support activity and the smooth running of the day. Please encourage students to ask as many questions as possible.
