STEM Student Ambassador Talks
These talks are a chance for your pupils to find out more about specific STEM subjects and opportunities in higher education. They are a great opportunity for pupils to explore some of the options available for further study and would be ideal for pupils making decisions about which subjects to study at a higher level.
- Our subject specific ‘Leeds Loves STEM’ talks are delivered in schools by undergraduate students from a range of STEM degrees.
- The sessions are designed to inspire and promote interest in the STEM subjects in higher education.
- Sessions can be tailored to suit your specific aims. This might include a focus on potential career opportunities, the journey from school to higher education or insight into our student’s experience of the University of Leeds.
- Schools often use these talks as part of their options events or during subject immersion days.
- All events are free and last between 30 to 60 minutes depending on your requirements.
