Medicine - Not Just Medics

The subject of Medicine interests many students, but there are lots of career paths other than becoming a doctor. Scientists, engineers, and mathematicians work alongside medical doctors and other clinicians, helping them to understand the spread of disease, discover new cures, and develop new technologies for diagnosis and treatment.
The Medicine - Not Just Medics programme aims to provide students in Year 9, 10 and 11 with more information about how STEM degrees can link to the field of Medicine, and why STEM is important for medical advancement.
See 'What are the requirements for the event?' below for more details, or contact [email protected] for more information.
Campus Taster Day - Tuesday 25th November
Students will get to meet current students and academics at the university to find out more about courses and careers in STEM. They will explore the campus and take part in three hands-on workshops. This year the sessions will cover areas of chemistry and biosciences as well as the clinical skills required in healthcare professions.
Please note: The campus day is for groups of up to 15 students per school.

What are the requirements for the event?
