Primary

We have a limited capacity to work with primary schools.

We recommend getting in touch with STEM Ambassadors who provide lots of initiatives for primary schools.

We also offer a number of resources  suitable for  KS2 which can either be downloaded directly from our site or loaned from us subject to availability. Click on the links below to find out more.

Experiment in a Box

Welcome to the Experiment in a Box project, funded by the Royal Society of Chemistry Outreach Fund and developed by the University of Leeds.
The resources are completely free of charge and are delivered in school by a student ambassador from the University of Leeds, subject to availability.

FunMaths Resources

The University of Leeds is a hub for the FunMaths Resources. These excellent resources, developed by the Liverpool Mathematical Society, have proved popular for all age-groups across the UK. The puzzles promote mathematical thinking, discussion and problem-solving and provide a great basis for an engaging workshop. Suitable for KS2 to KS5 pupils.

Engineering Colouring Book

The Engineering Colouring Book has been designed to showcase the breadth and importance of engineering careers and roles in our everyday lives. We hope that it will act as a positive influence on young people in terms of their future careers, and also encourage their interest in maths and science at school.

RAF Primary Resources

To celebrate their 100 year birthday the Royal Air Force have produced an activity book designed for use with primary learners. This is a free resource and consists of a 32-page PDF document with activities focusing on comprehension, maths and science. A teacher/facilitator document is also available to support you in using the activity book in your classroom.
