What are the requirements for the Campus Experience Day?
You must be in Year 12 studying both Physics and Maths at A-level. It's free to attend though you must have permission from your school to attend. At the end of the day, you'll recieve a slip that confirms you attended the day for proof to your school.
Where do the activities take place
Activities will be held in the School of Physics and Astronomy on the University of Leeds campus. Participants will be responsible for travel to the University.
What are the planned activities?
You’ll attend a lecture, solve challenging problems during a workshop and complete an undergraduate-level lab session in the afternoon. You don't need to bring anything with you to complete the tasks on the day, like calculators, pens, etc. as it will be all provided for you.
What are the timings of the day?

10:15 Arrival on campus
10:30 Welcome & University-level Lecture
12:00 Lunch in the Refectory
13:00 Undergraduate Lab Session
14:30 Departure
Are there travel bursaries available?
We may be able to provide travel bursaries for participants to attend the day. If cost is a big barrier to attending the day, please let us know by email physics.outreach@leeds.ac.uk.
