STEM Student Ambassadors is a project designed to inspire and encourage secondary school students through informative and engaging presentations from our current undergraduate student ambassadors.
Our Student Ambassadors will give a presentation and answer questions about their specific subject, career paths and their experiences of studying at the University of Leeds.
View two short videos by our ambassadors below:
Rutendo is a Student Ambassador studying BEng in Civil Engineering.
You can see videos by students studying different STEM subjects here.
Umair is a Student Ambassador studying MEng Applied Computer Science.
You can see videos by students studying different STEM subjects here.
These talks are a chance for your pupils to find out more about specific STEM subjects and opportunities in higher education. They are a great opportunity for pupils to explore some of the options available for further study and would be ideal for pupils making decisions about which subjects to study at a higher level.
Talks are subject to the availability of the ambassadors.
Priority will be given to schools who meet our widening access criteria.
You can watch more short videos from some of our STEM ambassadors after completing this short form here.
