STEM Student Ambassadors

STEM Student Ambassadors is a project designed to inspire and encourage secondary school students through informative and engaging presentations from our current undergraduate student ambassadors.

Our Student Ambassadors will give a presentation and answer questions about their specific subject, career paths and their experiences of studying at the University of Leeds.

STEM Student Ambassador talks

These talks are a chance for your pupils to find out more about specific STEM subjects and opportunities in higher education. They are a great opportunity for pupils to explore some of the options available for further study and would be ideal for pupils making decisions about which subjects to study at a higher level.

  • Our subject specific ‘STEM student ambassador’ talks are delivered in schools or remotely by undergraduate students from a range of STEM degrees.
  • The sessions are designed to inspire and promote interest in the STEM subjects in higher education.
  • Schools often use these talks as part of their options events or during subject immersion days.
  • All events are free and last between 30 to 60 minutes depending on your requirements.

Talks are subject to the availability of the ambassadors.

Priority will be given to schools who meet our widening access criteria.

You can watch more short videos from some of our STEM ambassadors after completing this short form here.
