STEM Student Ambassadors
Leeds Loves STEM is a project designed to inspire and encourage secondary school students through informative and engaging presentations from our current undergraduate student ambassadors.
Our student ambassadors will give a presentation and answer questions about their specific subject, career paths and their experiences of studying at the University of Leeds.
These talks are a chance for your pupils to find out more about specific STEM subjects and opportunities in higher education. They are a great opportunity for pupils to explore some of the options available for further study and would be ideal for pupils making decisions about which subjects to study at a higher level.
- Our subject specific ‘Leeds Loves STEM’ talks are delivered in schools by undergraduate students from a range of STEM degrees.
- The sessions are designed to inspire and promote interest in the STEM subjects in higher education.
- Schools often use these talks as part of their options events or during subject immersion days.
- All events are free and last between 30 to 60 minutes depending on your requirements.
