Connecting Art, Science and Technology

Date
Date
Monday 23 March 2015

How are history, art, science and technology connected? During this session pupils will use the 19th Century Arts and Crafts Movement and the work of William Morris and Philip Webb to explore the roots of their design reform in the Industrial Revolution. We will investigate why things looked and look the way they do, by thinking about social history, the history of science and technology, philosophy, literature and art. The session will include a print making workshop.

This session is suitable for KS2 pupils
