As a host for us, you will be offered paid opportunities to help us host schools on campus, visit schools in Yorkshire or even travel further afield for bigger events like UCAS Fairs. You can apply to as many, or as few, events as you want to fit around your studies, and it can be a great way to earn money alongside your course as well as gain a lot of employability skills.

We recruit around 60 hosts every year in Term 1, open to any course and year of study. The job goes live on the University job site in September each year.

Volunteering Hubs

The Volunteering Hub has a huge database of opportunities, covering work on all sorts of community, business and school partnerships. They span across a wide range of lengths of commitment and training and are a great place to get started on deciding what kind of work you might want to do.
