Building Nature’s Robots

Prof Mark Lorch

Proteins are the chemical micro-machines that control all living organisms. They are the gatekeepers, messengers, factories and defence systems within us all. We will take a look at the amazing and still
mysterious processes that proteins use to build themselves and what happens when proteins go rogue.

The lecture is suitable for students in Y9-11.
